My Review

Children all have days where they are unsure and maybe a little nervous – this book is perfect for that! Layla is about to start school and is really nervous, she’s never been to school. Layla turns to her mom for help. Her mom helps her whip up a batch of confidence using God’s love for us. Such a heartwarming book. Even as adults sometimes we need a Spoonful Of Faith to get us through hard times. The writing is easy to read keeping a child’s attention easily and the illustrations pair so well with the story. Definitely a book you can turn to on more than one occasion.

Jena (pronounced jee-nuh) Holliday is a children’s book creator, graphic artist, wife, mother, and believer. While previously working in the marketing field, God showed up, and, in a beautiful way, merged her love of storytelling with her passion for art, and the Spoonful of Faith brand was born. Jena lives in Minneapolis.
