Illustrated By Elmira Ushanova

The story features a Wasp who does not understand why people run from him and a Bee who people enjoy being around more; even though he does not have the beautiful features that the Wasp has. This short story shows how people appreciate good character in those around them rather than other things which may seem more important.

About The Illustrator

Elmira Ushanova is an illustrator living in Russia. She used Photoshop to create the illustrations you see throughout the book. The Wasp and the Bee specifically was a fun project for her because of how much information she learned about bees and wasps. She has always been interested in drawing ever since her childhood; she says it is her favorite memory that grew into a profession. Today, Elmira is inspired by children which motivates her to draw.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Illustrated by Darya Kryukova

This famous poem is a timeless classic that speaks strongly to children’s innocent idealism. Mundane facts of grown-up life hold magical enchantment for a young person learning about the world.

About The Illustrator

Darya Kryukova is an illustrator living in Russia. She used Procreate to create the illustrations for Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. After reading the book she immediately saw clear distinct shapes of the stars, the night sky, and the adorable, kind, characters. She wanted her illustrations to evoke in parents and children the feeling of utter warmth and kindness. May it be that love will be the north star in each of our lives, and that is what she has tried to capture in this book.

As you all know, I’m a huge fan of kids books. With this subscription my son gets his own little personal mail parcel that is just for him.
