Our Thoughts
This is an amazing book that tackles bullying, yoga and positive affirmations. I loved how there was a story, but within the story there were precise directions for yoga poses that most children can do at home. With each pose it gives a mindful mantra/positive affirmation to have your child focus on while they are holding that pose. In the back of the book there is also a page that has a guided imagery for relaxation as well as questions you can ask your child once you finish reading the book. The illustrations, done by Pardeep Mehra, are gorgeous. This book was written by mother and daughter team which you will meet below!
