It’s a bright sunny day to explore the city of Nashville, Tennessee. However, all Skylar wants to do is sleep. Flying Through Nashville, is a book about the importance of children gaining an early understanding of what being a great sibling looks like. It’s up to Ryder to lead his sister through the beautiful city. Will Skylar stay awake long enough to see all the amazing places?

My Review

What a wonderful way to experience somewhere you’ve never been! In this case, Nashville, and I’ll tell you what I had never heard of more than half of these places. As an adult I find it absolutely amazing when a picture book teaches me something new. Skylar & Ryder are so adorable! Definitely some cool characters that get the birds eye view of all these places. Kendra is extremely talented and both wrote and illustrated this book herself. I can’t wait to see where we fly off to next!

About The Author

Kendra Hudson was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. As a child, she always loved animated movies and traveling with her family. The first time Kendra saw The Little Mermaid, she knew that she wanted to be a part of the animation world one day. She attended Full Sail University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Animation. When she’s not busy creating a world for children, Kendra loves visiting theme parks and making cupcakes.
