My Review
Our children are living through a pandemic, and while they don’t know the extent of what’s going on – they do know something has changed. This book does a beautiful job at explaining the pandemic, the precautions we need to take and most of all what is important to us. The people we love and care about aren’t with us as much as they used to be. It’s got to be hard on the kids, because it’s been hard on us adults. My son was really young when the pandemic first hit, only 1.5 years old. So when it was safe to visit family he didn’t even recognize his own grandparents, he had to get to know them all over again. I love everything about this book!
About The Author
Ashley Perrotti is a thirty-year-old mom of two living out these crazy times at home in New Jersey. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2011 and has since married and had two daughters. Perrotti has been creative writing since grade school.
Inspiration to write the book:
I hope the book not only helps kids manage their emotions about the pandemic and assist in rationalizing why so many changes have happened, but also help parents and educators with those explanations.
