A Special Present From Puddles!

Puddles Poodle is a kind-hearted puppy who is eager to surprise his dear Irish friend, Bernadette O’Bunny, with a special gift for St. Patrick’s Day! Through his exciting adventures searching for the perfect gift, he learns about castles, leprechauns and shamrocks! Puddles also learns about St. Patrick and how he teaches the people of a country named Ireland about God. He discovers there are many shades of green which dot the landscape of the beautiful Irish countryside. Along the way, Puddles meets his good friend, Seamus Seal and greets Mrs. Murray in her bookstore. He is so happy when he finds the perfect present, but then is horrified when it slips out of his arms and falls into the mud. What is he going to do? Suddenly, the most amazing gift appears before his very eyes! He couldn’t believe it! Puddles knows he is indeed touched by magic as you will be too when you try to do good for others!

My Review

An adorable tale of a dog named Puddles who wants to get his Irish friend, Bernadette, a special gift for St. Patrick’s Day. After doing a bunch of research at his local library about Ireland, Puddles comes up with the perfect gift. However, that gift gets ruined on the way home. A magic leprechaun shows up and grants Puddles a wish. You’ll definitely want to get this book to find out what happens next. I love the thoughtfulness of Puddles, and his friendship with Bernadette. A wonderful story I wanted to share with you on this year’s St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀🍀
