Acknowledging and owning up to a mistake is a very difficult task for children—and it’s not always easy for adults, either! Designed to be a read-aloud, parents will take pleasure in the playful text as much as children will enjoy following the prompts to interact with Dragon. The whimsical and colorful illustrations enable the dragon to jump off the page and will delight readers with her personality on every page.

My Review

A truly wonderful story that all kids will relate to! When Dragon does something is not supposed to, it seemed easier to blame someone else. It’s not always easy to admit when you’ve done something wrong, but it’s the right thing to do. I love how the book gets kids to interact with the story itself. My son loved being able to help Dragon do the right thing. In the end Dragon not only makes things right but replaces the cake he took a huge bite from! Utterly adorable in every way. The illustrations are gorgeous and being the story to life. All kids could benefit from reading this fantastic story!
