My Review

A witty and fun story for the entire family. Celebrate who you are, no matter what it takes. Edimorwhitimormiligimmus is quite the mouthful for anyone to sound out. So when his teacher shortens it to Ed (without permission) he didn’t happy about it. After all, each part of his name comes from a beloved family member. He comes up with a plan to help the classroom remember how to pronounce his name. Using name tags and explaining each part of his name to different students, he achieves exactly what he’s trying to do! I love everything about this book, especially the importance of family to Edimorwhitimormiligimmus. He is an inspiration to all who will read this book, which I highly recommend you do!

About The Author

Amy Nielander is a designer and award-winning children’s book author and illustrator who loves to create playful stories for kids. Growing up, she had her name frequently misspelled by others. My Name Is Not Ed Tug is inspired by this experience and by her time volunteering in her children’s classrooms. Amy lives near Detroit, Michigan.
