However, his best friend, Aarush Patel has been selected and thinks Grady has the right stuff.

Even school bully, Elwood Bledsoe is attending.

If Grady is fortunate enough to be picked, his guardian has forbidden him to attend.

Will a family secret prevent Grady from becoming the superhero he was destined to be?

My Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Yes! This is a phenomenal introduction to a new superhero series. When Grady gets a chance to enter a very special high school, will he rise above his own doubts. With strong friendships that encourage and help navigate through important life events. I absolutely love that autism was introduced as well as asthma. This gives the reader a greater awareness to issues that they may or may not have dealt with. I love the support that Aarush gives to Grady. A well written book that will appeal to middle grade and above. I not only thoroughly enjoyed this story but it is one I’ll be introducing to my son when he gets older. The fantastical elements elevated this story to new heights. I personally can’t wait to see what Grady gets into next!!
