My Review
🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
A magical beginning to a new fantastical middle grade series. We follow along with Jack, David and Rosie as they try to save the world. Along the way we have a magical animal hybrid, punkey (half puppy, half monkey), portals to other worlds, and a magical book – what can possibly go wrong? This book had a slight Harry Potter feel to me with just a little younger main characters. The writing was truly phenomenal. The world building was flawless without information dumping. The plot was unique and fun in a way that will leave you wanting more. Luckily for everyone this is just the first book in the series!
