My Review
So for this review, I’m doing things a bit differently. After reading both books I’m going to give you a spoiler free review of both together.
The author has quite a refreshing take on fantasy! Both books while different had the same smooth writing and phenomenal world building. The characters are well fleshed out, with some unforgettable personalities. The plots were wild and I loved the twists and turns in each. Edge of your seat storytelling at it’s best. The pacing is fast and steady, no dull moments or information dumping. After reading these I will be checking out his other books for sure. Ralph Burton has made me a fan!

Ralph Burton is a twenty-five-year-old horror author from Aylesbury, UK. He enjoys drinking tea, coffee, listening to classical music and likes cats. His favourite authors are Roald Dahl and Angela Carter. His first book is Eldritch Nights (2019) and his most recent book was The Falls (2021). His new book Masquerade will be out by winter 2021. He currently resides in Oxford, UK.
