Wow, this book is phenomenal! A beautifully written story about a cat who recently lost his best friend, the family dog. The cat turned blue and didn’t want to do anything it used to. The cat’s little girl owner tried desperately to do things with the cat that he used to enjoy but to no avail. They decide to take the blue cat to the vet. After talking to the vet about the recently loss of the dog, the vet may have an answer.
For anyone who has ever lost a fur baby, this one is for you. Dealing with the death of an animal isn’t just hard on the people but also on his fur siblings (same species or not). This took me back to when one of our dogs passed away, our other dog was beside himself. I think this book can also be a great tool to help children deal with grief after losing a pet. A fantastic and heartwarming story of one little girl trying to make everything better. The illustrations and colors were stunning! Definitely want to check this one out.
