My Review
Both of these books are outstanding! Grandparents have a special relationship with their grandchildren and I think Maryann Macdonald depicts those relationships beautifully. A lot of times as parents we don’t take the time to slow down and really enjoy life with our kids to the fullest. Grandparents don’t let a moment pass them by – teaching grandkids everything they know and love, taking the time to just play!! These books really made me open my eyes and really see the relationship my son has with them, it’s beautiful.
Each of these hardcover books come with 32 pages that are adorned with stunning illustrations. Maryann Macdonald does an amazing job writing these!
About The Author
Maryann Macdonald is the award-winning author of more than thirty books for children of all ages. She grew up in a large family near Detroit and has used many of her childhood experiences and enthusiasms in creating her books. Maryann graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and attended the Université de Paris, Sorbonne. She and her husband lived in France and England for 24 years, and raised their two daughters there. She now lives in New York City.
