Explaining a child’s beginning, is sometimes difficult and considered taboo. This book is an honest, eye opening, and humorous, mother’s attempt to satisfy her daughter’s curiosity, of where babies come from?

My Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I really enjoyed reading this book! It’s an adorable story about a curious little girl, named Sarah – who just wants to know how everything is made. Sarah’s mom explains that Sarah is a product of love, and that she grows inside her mom’s womb. After her mom explains, Sarah compares it to how cats & dogs have babies. Her mom says, yes like that. Then Sarah says well cats and dogs have babies with several brothers and sisters and would like to know why she doesn’t have that??

A very well thought out book. I love how the author uses larger words that will have children asking for the definition, leaves plenty of room for learning more. The illustrations are beautiful. Overall a great book!

About The Author

Bio:

A physician of 14 years, father of one daughter, soon to be two (a recent development). And a husband for ten years. I have always had an interest in poetry and with the birth of my first child, spawned a new sense of responsibility and the inspiration to pick up the pen and write the book.
