Sarah’s Song

Sarah’s Song

By Rosie J. Pova – Illustrated by Emma Allen

Sarah searches for the perfect song to sing to her grandma–one that will make her well so they can share music and dance together again, just like they used to do. Sarah practices every day and tries different songs, but Grandma isn’t getting better and the cane she’s started using is not going away. Will Sarah find the perfect song? And could her song work in an unexpected way?

Our Rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.

A heartfelt story about a grandma and her granddaughter. Sarah and her grandma dance and sing all the time, until grandma isn’t able to anymore. For children it must be very confusing to see someone aging and unable to do what they used to do. In this story it shows how Sarah overcomes not having her dance and song partner, by doing something very special that her grandma will love. Beautifully written story and gorgeous illustrations. Rosie & Emma have paired together and created an amazing book!
